Acetaminophen is acetanilide antipyretic analgesic, also known as paracetamol. It is white crystal or crystalline powder; Odorless, slightly bitter taste. For fever, can also be used to relieve mild to moderate pain, such as headache, muscle pain, joint pain and neuralgia, dysmenorrhea, cancer pain and postoperative pain.

Acetaminophen tablets, Acetaminophen is main ingredients and its chemical name is: N- (4-hydroxyphenyl) acetamide, according to the calculation of dry products, containing C8H9N O2 should be 98.0%-102.0%.

It is easy to absorb orally, the blood concentration reaches a peak of 0.5~1h, 95% is inactivated by combination with glucuronic acid or sulfuric acid in the body, and 5% is converted into metabolites that are toxic to the liver by hydroxylation, all of which are discharged from the urine. The plasma protein binding rate was 25%. 90% to 95% are metabolized in the liver, and are mainly combined with glucuronic acid, sulfuric acid and cysteine. Intermediate metabolites have toxic effects on the liver. T1/2 is generally 1 to 4 hours (average 2 hours), and renal insufficiency is unchanged, but it may be prolonged in some liver disease patients, the elderly and newborns can be prolonged, and children are shortened. This product is mainly excreted from the kidneys in the form of glucuronic acid binding, and about 3% is excreted in urine in its original form within 24 hours.
