Chloramine-t is an organic compound with the molecular formula C7H7ClNNaSO2. It is a white or slightly yellow crystalline powder with a slight odor of chlorine and is not bitter. It slowly dissolves in the air, and the available chlorine is only reduced by 0.1% a year, and gradually loses chlorine and becomes yellow. Its aqueous solution is slightly alkaline to phenolphthalein and litmus reagent, pH 8 ~ 10.
